Arg. This is driving me crazy. The fic I'm looking for was fairly long. The boys are out on a mission for the Order, I think, and Remus is hit by a (purple?) spell that basically turns his brain into that of the wolf. This is a long shot, but one of the first R/S fics I ever read was a multi-chapter NC-17 fic about an accident in Potions class where Sirius and Remus were attached at their wrists and they were stuck that way for like a week or two. This is driving me mad. This was a fic in which there's a potions accident and Snape and Lupin are de-aged into toddlers. Snape, being a very demanding toddler, is being cared for by Madame Pomfrey, and Sirius ends up taking care of Baby Remus.
